Requirements
  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario in Radiology is required.
  • At least one year of hospital experience or equivalent is required.
  • Valid cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification is required.
  • The candidate must demonstrate organizational, communication, interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, critical decision-making, patient-focused care, service excellence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The candidate must demonstrate commitment to customer service, the organization's code of conduct, health and safety, patient safety, environmental safety, and regular safety education.
  • The candidate must maintain excellent work performance and attendance.
  • The candidate must be willing to train in full-line computed tomography and successfully complete the CAMRT CT certification.
Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and practice activities in a multidisciplinary, family-centred care environment.
  • Perform the complete range of general radiography tests and procedures.
  • Manage patient information registry activities and prepare reports.
  • Maintain equipment and perform other relevant radiology duties.
  • Work across all three hospital locations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience scanning CT head and renal colic cases.
  • Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
  • Completion of or enrollment in a CAMRT CT certification course.
  • Training in cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Completion of an intravenous certificate course.
  • Ability to speak another language.
