Requirements
- A completed vocational qualification as a machining mechanic is required, ideally with a milling specialization.
- Several years of experience operating CNC-controlled milling machines, such as Heidenhain or Siemens, are required.
- Sound knowledge of CAM programming, ideally using a commonly used CAM system, is required.
- Experience optimizing machining processes and CNC programs is required.
- Experience machining complex precision components on 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines is required.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and manufacturing documentation is required.
- Good knowledge of quality inspection and metrology is required.
- The candidate must work independently, systematically, and with a focus on quality.
- The candidate must be willing to work a two-shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Independently set up, operate, and program CNC milling machines.
- Create, optimize, and run in CNC programs.
- Create and adapt CAM programs for efficient machining of complex components.
- Select suitable tools and optimize machining strategies.
- Manufacture precision parts according to drawings and technical specifications.
- Monitor and continuously improve manufacturing processes.
- Inspect the quality of manufactured components using modern measuring equipment.
- Work closely with production planning, design, and quality assurance.
- Maintain and care for the machines.
