  • A minimum of 4 years legal experience
  • Experience advising product, engineering, and marketing teams in tech or health-tech companies
  • Experience with laws and regulations controlling marketing and advertising, intellectual property, consumer protection, and privacy and data protection
  • Experience with health regulatory compliance
  • Strong analytic abilities and clear communication skills
  • J.D. degree and membership in at least one state bar
  • CIPP/US certification is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Provide legal insight on data security and privacy, marketing and advertising compliance, and health regulatory compliance
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to provide counseling and guidance
  • Contribute to product and marketing release preparation by identifying and resolving legal issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and deliver legal advice
  • Manage outside legal counsel on various matters
