  • 10+ years of software development in web development
  • Experience with architecting and designing highly available/fault-tolerant, transaction processing systems and operating complex services running in the cloud.
  • Strong leadership experience. Leading meetings, presenting, and serving as the technical go-to person and cross-functional leader.

Responsibilities
  • You'll be responsible for the technical direction, strategy and health of our web platforms
  • You'll ensure that our technology can deliver on the business/product requirements necessary to make LTK successful at a rapid pace and scale
  • This means working with other leads to set and execute a long-term strategy for web, aligning the strategy with other clients where applicable, and lead communications with leadership around our status and path to having a world-class web platform
  • Develop strong partnerships with product teams to understand, and proactively address, future technology needs and current developer pain points
  • Champion and drive large-scale, cross-functional initiatives that improve the web platform
  • Act as the ultimate “customer representative” for web engineers, including representing needs to leadership and prioritizing projects on the platform teams that ensure high-quality features and a world-class developer experience
  • Scale your leadership through both direct mentorship and via best practices, processes, training, and tools
  • Ensure solid technical plans are in place for projects within web via direct review or delegation
  • Be the technical point of contact for decisions that impact the whole web platform and for cross-functional partners like product, marketing, and recruiting.
  • Technical subject matter expert, who mentors fellow engineers, demonstrates technical experience and leads teams in solving challenging problems.
