Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
Anduril’s Air Dominance & Strike Division is one of Anduril’s fastest growing divisions and is seeking a Carrier Integration Engineer to join our team. Our goal is to fundamentally reshape the way future peer-to-peer conflicts are fought by developing next generation unmanned aircraft, missiles, and the software that powers these autonomous weapons.
As Carrier Integration Engineer, you will work with many different disciplines to develop Group 5 unmanned aircraft including Navy ship- and carrier-based platforms. You will analyze and decompose requirements and perform trades to influence design, analysis, and testing. You will collaborate with the customer and work with platform and ground segment design teams to inform integration into the carrier environment including approaches to launch and recovery, deck handling, MD-5 Ground Control Station (GCS), communication modes with the ship (including EMCON), and carrier qualification testing.
