Requirements
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance, including Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI.
  • Expertise in Python.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with Docker, Docker Compose, or Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and microservice architecture.
  • Strong communication skills and self-motivation.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or significant professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of software development experience.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software applications using Python.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and pair programming to ensure high-quality code and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay up to date with the latest software engineering trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
  • Contribute to the development of new codebases that emphasize object orientation, modularity, and maintainability.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of Spark or PySpark.
  • Background in mathematics or computer science.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies.
