Requirements
  • Completed technical education with an IT specialization, such as HTL, university of applied sciences, university, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in IT infrastructure management, ideally in a corporate group or distributed site organization.
  • Experience with professional and disciplinary leadership of technical teams.
  • Sound knowledge in several of the following areas: Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Autopilot, Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, hybrid cloud architectures, virtualization, storage, backup and recovery, LAN, WLAN, WAN, firewalls, VPN, monitoring, IT service management, and service management.
  • Experience leading complex infrastructure, consolidation, or migration projects.
  • Strong understanding of IT security, availability, lifecycle management, and business continuity.
  • Ability to evaluate technical options systematically and derive economically sound decisions.
  • Very good German and good English language skills.
  • Willingness to travel between Austrian locations.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the IT Infrastructure Management team, both professionally and disciplinarily.
  • Take overall responsibility for stable, secure, and cost-effective operation of group-wide IT infrastructure.
  • Manage the Modern Workplace, Datacenter and Cloud, and Network and Communication areas.
  • Develop and implement a group-wide infrastructure roadmap, including standardization.
  • Manage infrastructure projects from concept and business-case evaluation through implementation.
  • Further develop modern Microsoft, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
  • Ensure efficient operations, maintenance, incident, and escalation processes.
  • Manage external partners, including budgets, contracts, and service quality.
  • Collaborate closely with IT Security, Enterprise Architecture, and business departments.
  • Contribute to business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management.
  • Oversee the build, operation, and maintenance of networks, servers, end-user computing, and cloud solutions, including datacenter and network consolidation, a multi-year migration roadmap, and a group-wide operating model.
