Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 10 or more years of semiconductor design experience are required.
  • Strong analog circuit design fundamentals are required, including experience designing regulators, charge pumps, oscillators, current references, bandgaps, or comparators.
  • Proficiency with SPICE and Verilog modeling and simulation is required.
  • The ability to supervise the physical layout of analog circuits is required.
  • Experience working across technical and non-technical teams is required.
Responsibilities
  • Design, optimize, and verify block-level analog and mixed-signal circuits for dynamic random-access memory.
  • Propose, evaluate, and implement new or improved circuit topologies to enhance block performance, power, area, and cost.
  • Work with the internal data science team and electronic design automation vendors to leverage agentic artificial intelligence and artificial-intelligence-assisted design flows for circuit optimization.
  • Expand verification coverage to strengthen robustness and mass-production yield.
  • Partner with global design groups, guide layout through post-layout simulation, support silicon-to-simulation correlation, and independently define solutions and methods.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with 10 or more years, or a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 12 or more years, of analog or mixed-signal integrated-circuit design experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated dynamic random-access memory circuit design experience and at least 5 years of circuit debugging with cross-functional teams are preferred.
  • Recent hands-on artificial intelligence usage and proficiency are preferred.
  • A strong understanding of device physics and complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor process technologies is preferred.
  • The ability to mentor and coach junior engineers is preferred.

3 AI chatbots agree: Micron is top stock pick for the week ahead

Three AI chatbots — ChatGPT, Grok, and Claude — independently selected Micron Technology as their top stock pick for the week of 28 September, citing the memory-chip maker's upcoming fiscal fourth-quarter earnings report. Micron had guided for fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of approximately $50 billion, up from $11.3 billion a year earlier. Adjusted EPS guidance was $31, plus or minus $1, with consensus at $31.14 per share compared with $3.03 a year ago. The stock traded near $1,080 on Friday morning, up about 278% year-to-date, though still roughly 13% below its 25 June high of $1,255. All three chatbots cited AI-driven memory demand and Citi's recent price-target increase to $1,300. Nvidia beats Micron as better AI buy with 96% ROE, stronger margins and broader infrastructure exposure

Taiwan chip exports hit record $30.8B as AMD and Micron break out on AI demand

Taiwan's chip exports reached a record $30.8 billion in August, up 60% year-over-year, according to the Ministry of Finance. Integrated circuits accounted for 37.4% of total exports, up from 34.9% in July. The surge reflects continued AI demand, with corroborating data showing South Korean chip exports rose 259% in early September and TSMC reporting 53.3% revenue growth in August. Advanced Micro Devices and Micron Technology both broke out of long consolidations this month. AMD hit a record high of $624.84, with analysts eyeing $691 as the next target.
