Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Film/Television Media, Business or a related field.
  • Passionate about Entertainment: A deep love for television, film and the media landscape, contributing enthusiasm and bringing a ‘can-do’ attitude to our dynamic team.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Exhibit proficiency in both written and verbal communication to effectively convey ideas and information.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office 365 and PowerPoint. Familiarity with organizational tools, e.g. Airtable, Salesforce. Strong knowledge of social platforms such as LinkedIn IG, Meta, X etc.
  • Keen Attention to Detail: Demonstrate accuracy and care in all tasks and projects. Experience in performing research and/or competitive analysis.
  • Ability to Multi-task: Organized, resourceful self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize successfully.
  • Strategic Thinking and Creativity: Possess the ability to think strategically in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate creativity.
  • Teamwork: Enjoys working on a cross-functional team and collaborating effectively.
Responsibilities
  • Provide Support to the SPT/SPHE Distribution Canada Marketing team in all B2B Communications initiatives and activities to raise the profile of Sony Pictures Entertainment Canada and gain more exposure of our content across clients, accounts, and the end consumer.
  • Work alongside SPT/SPHE Marketers to develop and execute B2B marketing plans and strategy, supporting development of materials and custom assets when needed.
  • Conduct research on Canadian media landscape and build client/account platform profiles in the form of a PowerPoint presentation.
  • Localize and update a Canadian LinkedIn content calendar with approved social posts. On occasion, assist with localizing creative for Canadian team.
  • Support the development of client-facing newsletters and sales related outreach tactics, including developing content calendar and reporting on newsletter results.
  • Research ongoing trends and opportunities in field of B2B Marketing, presenting communications tactics and ideas to the wider team.
  • Assist with department events, team engagement, and publicity initiatives on ad hoc basis.
  • Other department duties as required.
