  • Ability to work the scheduled part-time hours, up to 19.5 hours per week.
  • Availability to work between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, as scheduled by the supervisor.
  • May be subject to a criminal background check and, for some positions, a fingerprint check.
Responsibilities
  • Shadow multiple office personnel and receive training in a variety of tasks.
  • Attend company functions and networking events.
  • Follow the organization’s reporting structure, policies, and procedures.
  • Answer phone inquiries, direct calls, and provide basic district information as needed.
  • Perform clerical duties, maintain files, organize documents, and use photocopy and fax equipment as needed.
  • Assist with researching and gathering documentation and preparing information and research materials.
  • Create and maintain PowerPoint presentations as needed.
  • Manage databases and input information, data, and records as needed.
  • Communicate performance-affecting issues to the supervisor and apply critiques and suggestions to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Complete and submit timesheets within the designated time frame.
  • Interact with diverse internal and external stakeholders and constituents in the Dallas College community network.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
