Requirements

Relevant experience in Accounting or Finance.
Manufacturing costing experience, ideally within a factory or supply chain environment.
A university degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
Willingness to be assigned to the Chembong Factory in Negeri Sembilan.

Responsibilities

Ensure accurate, timely, efficient, and quality reporting and analysis for manufacturing costing, covering Period End Close for group and internal management reporting.
Manage the annual Standard Cost Budget process in collaboration with the factory, business units, Costing Centre of Competence, Operations, and Procurement.
Review and analyse factory variances and provide transparency on variances to Management, Operations, and Business Units.
Review and analyse actual Costs of Production, identify key drivers, provide analysis and explanations on results, and provide insight on trends.
Comply with Nestle Accounting Standards, Nestle Costing Standards for Manufacturing, and Company Standing Instructions; perform periodic audits and follow up on previous audit issues.
Participate in factory initiatives through cost improvement projects, including SIMPLEX and OPEX.
Ensure proper maintenance of Data Based Management in the SAP Costing system.
Review and analyse factory key performance indicators, including operations performance, financial performance, and compliance measures.
Provide benchmarking and cost analysis to support SKU optimisation reviews.
Collaborate with the Costing Centre of Competence on operational activities such as Period End Close, Master Data, and factory health checks.
Ensure timely communication of targeted information to relevant parties and ensure services align with agreed expectations.
Deliver costing knowledge to Business Units and Factories.
Act as the contact person with the NBS team to ensure compliance of Sugar Tax Declaration to customs.

Main Purpose of the Job:

Ensure accurate, timely, efficient and quality reporting and analysis for manufacturing costing. Covers activities during Period End Close for group reporting and internal management reporting. Manage and responsible to the annual Standard Cost Budget process by working with the factory, business units, Costing Centre of competence, Operations and Procurement.

Required Qualifications:

Relevant experience in Accounting / Finance
Manufacturing costing experience; ideally within a factory or supply chain environment
