Vector Capital has agreed to acquire a majority stake in SingleStore, a San Francisco-based data platform company, through a growth buyout.
Vector Capital has agreed to buy SingleStore, a database startup backed by Google and Dell, with an investment of about $500 million. The deal's terms weren't disclosed, but SingleStore was valued at $1.3 billion after a 2022 funding round. Google Ventures, Dell, and IBM will remain investors. SingleStore reported $123 million in annual recurring revenue at the end of Q2, up 23% year over year. The acquisition is part of Vector's strategy to focus on venture buyouts.
