Requirements
  • An Electronic Engineering Technical Diploma, or an Industrial or Mechanical Engineering Technical Diploma.
  • At least 3 years of electronic or quality control experience.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures.
  • Successful establishment of employment eligibility and satisfactory completion of background checks, including a reference check and national criminal record check.
  • Ability to remain seated at a desk or workstation for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods.
  • Ability to move around the office and organize or transport files, packages, or other office-related materials.
  • Ability to read documents, use a computer, and perform data entry tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and identify trends in product nonconformance reports and return material authorizations to drive root cause investigations and implement effective corrective actions, including comprehensive 8D documentation.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams to review and revise New Product Development processes, including APQP realization, Design for Manufacturability, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Product Part Approval Process, and First Article Inspection.
  • Participate in Material Review Board activities to ensure accurate nonconformance and scrap data collection and drive actions to reduce waste and improve operational cost efficiency.
  • Prepare and present reports for supplier quality performance, production quality performance, and customer quality data and metrics with the Quality Manager.
  • Support Production and Manufacturing Engineering in developing and maintaining Quality Acceptance Criteria Standards and facilitate training for the Operations team.
  • Work and communicate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Planning, Operations, and other manufacturing functions.
  • Review and action Return Material Authorization records in IFS daily and initiate customer communications to manage product returns for analysis.
  • Initiate Supplier Corrective Action Requests to suppliers when nonconforming material is identified in Receiving or Production, ensuring successful closure of nonconformances with proper documentation.
  • Conduct process, product, and system internal audits according to the annual internal audit program.
  • Develop and collaborate on creating and updating quality documentation such as standard operating procedures, work instructions, and control plans, ensuring proper release and training for revised documentation.
  • Support material inspections and dispositions.
  • Support and assist with implementing continuous improvement activities.
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties assigned by the Quality Manager or company management.
