Requirements
  • Knowledge of program support processes, procedures, and methods.
  • Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Three years of job-related work experience, including database management, use of office computer programs, and customer service in person and over the telephone.

Responsibilities
  • Provide program support to the Certification Bureau with federal survey reports, the certified nurse aide program, and nurse aide training programs.
  • Process data, letters, and reports based on surveys and information requests regarding participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs.
  • Approve or deny new nurse aide applications and recertification applications.
  • Correspond with applicants and other agencies.
  • Review training curricula to ensure they meet federal mandates.
  • Assist with nominating and tracking bureau staff for federal programs when necessary.

  • Experience working with federal Medicare and Medicaid regulations and database management.
