CDL B Delivery Driver/Warehouse
About the job
- A CDL Class B license with an Air Brake Endorsement, or a CDL Class A license with an Air Brake Endorsement.
- At least one year of CDL Class B delivery driving experience or two years of CDL Class A driving experience.
- The ability to continually lift 50–100 pounds throughout the day, with some lifting over 100 pounds required.
- A clean driving record.
- The ability to drive a manual transmission.
- A current Department of Transportation medical card.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Heavy lifting experience.
- Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment Department of Transportation drug screen.
- Safely deliver products to job sites and physically unload materials according to customer requests.
- Receive materials in the warehouse, load trucks, and process inventory.
- Load trucks with materials scheduled for the day's deliveries while complying with Department of Transportation regulations for securing materials and distributing weight limits.
- Unload shingles at one- and two-story homes.
- Provide customer service.
- Double-check all loads for accuracy and ensure they are thoroughly secured for delivery.
- Provide warehouse support, including shipping and receiving.
- Move materials and items from receiving to their designated areas.
- Pull orders for walk-in customers.
- Flatbed and Moffett operating experience.
