Requirements
  • Minimum of BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Successful candidates have more than five-year of direct experience on Space applications Fluids & Propulsion analysis experience (yet, the application will be considered for other levels if it does not meet this criteria)
  • Strong understanding of thermal and fluid mechanics of Cryogenics with relevant experience preferably in space industry (We are looking for engineers of all skill levels from beginner to advanced)
  • Experience with Thermal Desktop/SINDA/FLUINT
  • Have experience in running technical Space Cryogenics trade studies
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct thermal and fluids analysis to define the performance and operations for various spaceflight systems
  • Define hardware requirement and resolve technical challenges
  • Take ownership or support analysis tasks of a complex fluid system by conducting 1D-3D thermal and fluids analysis
  • Contribute to our product life cycle process from early conceptual design through completion of the flight mission
  • Derive component requirements and system sizing and analyze flight or ground process
  • Responsible for documentation and maintenance of analysis inputs, models, and presenting results to stakeholders.
