  • 5+ years of experience in the .Net development stack, including .Net Core, C#, and Web API, or equivalent expertise.
Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Embrace test-driven development principles and maintain code quality. Create and optimize services and system architectures for projects, providing feedback to the team.
  • Code Quality and Review: Improve code quality through unit testing, automation, and conducting code reviews. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Back-End Software Engineers, Project Managers, and System Administrators.
  • Innovation and Problem Solving: Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for technology, algorithms, and product enhancements. Dive into challenging problems and deliver effective solutions within specified timelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, translate them into use cases, and develop pragmatic technical solutions. Foster open communication and collaboration within the engineering team.
  • Security and Data Protection: Implement security measures and data protection protocols within applications. Ensure adherence to fundamental design principles for building scalable and secure applications.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness. Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs, developing innovative solutions.
  • Database Management: Build and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures in SQL Server databases. Ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.

PayActiv enables workers to access a portion of their earned wages before the standard payday. It partners with employers and government benefits providers to fund and post earned-but-unpaid wages onto a PayActiv Visa Card, using time and attendance data to determine how much is earned but not yet paid. Funds are deposited to the card ahead of the traditional payday so workers can access them sooner. Unlike many wage-advance services, PayActiv does not charge businesses to offer the benefit, and it earns revenue from transaction fees when workers use the Visa Card. As a public benefit corporation and Certified B Corp, its goal is to reduce predatory borrowing costs and support financial stability for workers while delivering value to employers and communities.
