  • A strong interest in agronomy, crop production, and modern agricultural practices.

  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to accurately collect and document information.
  • Willingness to learn about the cooperative system and Frontier's diverse business operations.
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced work environment.
  • A valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout Frontier's service territory.
  • The ability and willingness to work in both office and outdoor agricultural environments.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with local Frontier Ag Advisors on agronomic projects and sales initiatives.
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of fertilizer, crop protection products, and seed to customers.
  • Learn seed treatment processes, product handling procedures, and seed facility operations.
  • Conduct crop scouting activities, including weed, insect, and disease identification.
  • Collect tissue and soil samples and assist with agronomic data collection.
  • Gain experience in field application processes and support aerial application operations during fungicide season.
  • Build customer relationships by assisting with grower meetings, Answer Plot events, and field demonstrations.
  • Support on-farm research trials and help growers implement agronomic recommendations.
  • Learn Frontier's proprietary Ultimate Acre System, a farm management approach integrating Frontier business units to maximize grower success.
  • Develop an understanding of cooperative operations and how Frontier's business units work together to serve customers.

  • Professional relationship-building with growers and agronomy professionals.
  • Experience working within an agricultural cooperative.
