Requirements
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age at the time of employment.

  • Candidates must be able to work in a variable kitchen environment involving open flames, hot surfaces, temperature variations, and food allergens.

Responsibilities
  • Represent the company brand and culture by creating memorable, educational experiences that inspire repeat visits and customer loyalty.
  • Deliver in-store savory cooking classes using provided recipes and game plans to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Communicate technical cooking concepts and savory techniques clearly and accessibly.
  • Maintain product and culinary expertise by participating in training and seeking additional resources.
  • Drive sales by maintaining kitchen standards, encouraging second-class sign-ups, and promoting retail items used or featured in classes.
  • Achieve class revenue and culinary program goals through high enrollment, positive reviews, guest return rates, and customer engagement.
  • Set up and break down classes, including organizing mise en place, preparing ingredients, and cleaning workstations.
  • Clean and sanitize dishes and equipment promptly.
  • Restock, organize, and maintain kitchen supplies and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, local health codes, and sanitation regulations.
  • Handle tools, ingredients, and kitchen equipment safely and properly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, minimize shrink, and control supply and culinary expenses.
  • Handle liquor, wine, and beer in compliance with applicable alcohol regulations and company policies, including enforcing age restrictions when required.
  • Maintain store safety and cleanliness and address maintenance needs promptly.
  • Accurately record time worked and follow applicable wage-and-hour requirements and company policies.
  • Follow company policies and standard operating procedures consistently.

  • A degree in culinary arts is preferred; extensive culinary experience and demonstrated technical proficiency may substitute for formal education.
