About the job

Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in retention, churn, or customer relationship management marketing, ideally in telecommunications, broadband, or another subscription business.
  • Proven experience building save and win-back programs with measurable churn impact.
  • Strong customer segmentation skills and the ability to turn data signals into targeted campaigns.
  • A strong grasp of churn analytics, predictive modeling, and customer health scoring.
  • An iterative, test-and-learn mindset across proactive and reactive tactics.
  • Hands-on experience with direct mail, email, and outbound retention.
  • A competitive instinct for defending market share in contested markets.
  • Comfort using emerging technology, including artificial intelligence, to improve efficiency, such as for churn prediction, save-offer optimization, and win-back propensity.
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
  • Lead proactive efforts to prevent customer departures and reactive efforts to win back former subscribers.
  • Use churn signals such as contract end dates, complaints, usage changes, and competitive threats to launch timely, personalized save campaigns.
  • Use segmentation to tailor offers and interventions to at-risk customers.
  • Own targeted win-back initiatives for former customers, matching campaigns to why and when they left and using channels likely to succeed.
  • Manage the customer move journey, using move and address-change data to retain customers who relocate.
  • Partner with the Competitive Manager to create and deploy market-specific save and win-back campaigns in areas facing overbuilder or wireless competition.
  • Collaborate with the call center to align save strategies so frontline teams and marketing work together.
  • Test new retention tactics iteratively and scale successful approaches.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations and Analytics to manage data sources for churn, save, and win-back reporting.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with mover programs, address-triggered marketing, or telecommunications competitive intelligence.

About the company

Armstrong Group is a family-owned holding company with a diversified portfolio that includes telecommunications, cable TV and internet services, and real estate. The telecommunications arm builds and operates networks to deliver cable television and broadband to homes and businesses. Beyond telecom, the group holds real estate interests and manages assets across multiple industries, reflecting its evolution from a local line-construction business into a multi-sector organization. What sets Armstrong Group apart is its long-running, family-led ownership combined with a strategic focus on diversification across complementary sectors, rather than relying on a single industry. Its goal is to grow and sustain value over the long term by expanding its portfolio and geographic reach while maintaining family control.
