Jim Young joins Zelis as finance and Administrative chief ahead of Gladden's retirement.

Jim Young joins Zelis as finance and Administrative chief ahead of Gladden's retirement. Published. October 1, 2026 Zelis has appointed Jim Young Chief Financial & Administrative Officer as Brian Gladden prepares to retire, selecting an executive whose career spans insurance, payments, and financial technology. Both executives will work through a transition ending December 31, giving the incoming finance leader time to work alongside his predecessor. Previously chief financial officer at cybersecurity insurer Coalition, Young oversaw global finance, people, and actuarial operations. He brings more than 20 years of experience across public and private businesses, including capital markets, acquisitions, and changes to finance operations. Earlier, he served as chief financial officer at Broadridge Financial Solutions. His payments background includes eight years in senior leadership positions at Visa, where he supported the company's nearly $20 billion initial public offering in 2008. That experience includes both established financial technology businesses and an insurer. "Identifying the right successor for this critical role took a careful process," CEO Amanda Eisel stated. She pointed to his experience expanding technology and payments companies across public and private markets as a factor in the appointment. Since joining in 2021, outgoing finance chief Gladden helped bring in investors and establish operations in Hyderabad, India. According to Zelis, its healthcare financial technology business serves more than 725 payers. Customers include the five largest national health plans, regional health plans and third-party administrators, placing the leadership transition within a business serving multiple segments of healthcare payments.

Zelis(R) brings clarity to healthcare costs.

Zelis(R) brings clarity to healthcare costs. Zelis makes healthcare financial information more accessible through clearer, connected member communications BOSTON, MA - Zelis(R), a leading provider of healthcare technology solutions, today announced an expanded approach to member communications. The approach provides health plans with greater financial context to healthcare claims, payments and benefits so member experiences are easier to understand and actionable. By connecting healthcare financial information to payment and multi-channel communications workflows, Zelis is enabling greater continuity and clarity across the financial journey. Research from Zelis and Datos Insights reveals a persistent gap between the importance healthcare organizations place on financial clarity and their ability to deliver it. Among health plans that consider Explanation of Benefits (EOB) clarity extremely important, just 21% say they are very effective at delivering it. That gap becomes even more consequential as healthcare affordability remains a concern. News summary. * Zelis helps health plans provide the financial context behind claims, payments, and benefits, making complex healthcare information easier for members to understand and act on. * By connecting healthcare financial information to physical and digital communications workflows, Zelis reduces fragmentation and delivers clearer, more consistent member experiences. * Zelis is expanding its communications infrastructure with a new production facility in Phoenix, resulting in more capacity and geographic scale to support health plan needs. Members need clear information to understand their coverage and the financial implications of their care. When claims and billing information are difficult to understand, it contributes to more member service calls, billing disputes, delayed payments and financial stress. That results in greater administrative burden and costs. Zelis operates across the healthcare financial journey and connects into the systems and workflows where claims, payments, and clinical information originate. With this level of integrated insight, the company helps preserve the meaning and accuracy of information as it moves from claims processing and adjudication to the member. "Members should not have to piece together what happened, what was covered, what they may owe and what to do next," said Yusuf Qasim, President of Payments at Zelis. "Clear communication starts with preserving the healthcare and financial context behind it. Zelis has a unique opportunity to connect that context with the communications members receive, helping health plans make complex financial interactions easier to understand and act on." Bringing healthcare context through to the member. Zelis supports the member communications experience across four interconnected areas: * Healthcare transaction context: Visibilityand consistency across claims logic, payments and post-adjudication workflows preserves the meaning behind the information communicated to members. * End-to-end visibility and control: Connecting information, processes and communications workflows helps health plans reducehandoffs and fragmentation from transaction through delivery. * Healthcare expertise: Industry-specific knowledge enables compliance across print and digital channels. * Scale and operational resilience: Physical and digital infrastructureunderpins complex, time-sensitive member communications at scale. To support multi-channel communications at scale, Zelis is expanding its physical infrastructure with a new company-operated production facility in Phoenix, Arizona. It joins an existing operation in St. Louis, Missouri. The two-site model adds production capacity, geographic redundancy, and routing flexibility for high-volume and time-sensitive communications such as ID cards, EOBs, letters and notices during periods of increased demand such as annual enrollment. "The new Phoenix facility strengthens the operational foundation behind the member experience," Qasim said. "Scale and resiliency matter, but they are most valuable when paired with an understanding of the healthcare information being communicated. Zelis brings those pieces together - the claims and payment context, healthcare expertise and communications infrastructure - so health plans can make complex information clearer for the members they serve." Zelis Member Communications capabilities span physical and digital communications, along with price transparency, member navigation and other member-facing solutions supporting 71 million health plan members. About Zelis. Zelis is modernizing the healthcare financial experience across payers, providers, and healthcare consumers. Zelis serve more than 725 payers, including the top 5 national health plans, regional health plans, TPAs and millions of healthcare providers and consumers across its platform of solutions. Zelis sees across the system to identify, optimize, and solve problems holistically with technology built by healthcare experts - driving real, measurable results for clients. Vyne dental(r) and zelis(r) partner to modernize insurance payments for dental practices.

Vyne dental(r) and zelis(r) partner to modernize insurance payments for dental practices. Aug 17, 2026, 11:53 ET Partnership will simplify how more than one-third of U.S. dental practices receive, reconcile and understand insurance payments. INDIANAPOLIS, Aug. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Vyne Dental, a leading provider of dental revenue technologies and electronic health information exchange solutions, and Zelis, a leading provider of healthcare technology solutions, today announced a partnership designed to help dental practices move away from paper checks while simplifying workflows and reducing friction across the payment experience. Together, Vyne Dental and Zelis will provide dental practices with faster digital payments, a simpler reconciliation process, built-in visibility into claim performance, and greater clarity and control in managing revenue cycles. Through the partnership, Vyne Dental providers are able to gain access to ZAPP Edge(SM), which delivers electronic payments and embedded payment data and performance insights from 550+ insurance payers in a single, secure portal. Dental teams will also be able to quickly receive and reconcile payments, access more detailed claims insights and reporting, and better manage revenue workflows - helping to optimize revenue cycles and gain a clearer view of what's driving financial performance. "Dental practices have lived with paper checks and disconnected payment data for too long," said Steve Roberts, CEO of Vyne Dental. "Paper is slow, it's manual, and it leaves office teams chasing money instead of collecting it. The partnership with Zelis changes that. We're giving practices a direct, electronic path to get paid faster, along with the visibility to understand and account for payment trends. With this partnership, our customers chase less and collect more of every dollar they bill." "Modernizing the healthcare financial experience means more than digitizing paper checks. It means eliminating fragmented electronic connections that lead to delays in getting the data providers need," said Yusuf Qasim, President of Payments Optimization at Zelis. "By connecting ZAPP Edge with Vyne Trellis, Vyne Dental's revenue cycle management platform, we can bring payments, data and insights together in a connected experience that helps dental practices simplify reconciliation, understand payment activity and make more informed financial decisions." For participating Vyne Dental customers, electronic payments can reduce the need to receive, process, and deposit paper checks, while ZAPP Edge provides a more connected experience with built-in payment and denials insights to support simpler reconciliation and more informed revenue decisions. Connecting those payments with associated remittance and claims-payment information can help practices manage reconciliation through a more streamlined workflow. Initial enrollment for practices affiliated with participating payers is expected to begin in the coming months, with broader availability planned for late 2026. Vyne Dental and Zelis will share additional enrollment and implementation details as they become available. About Vyne Dental Vyne Dental delivers end-to-end revenue acceleration across payers, providers, and patients through connectivity, revenue cycle automation, claims management, and data exchange.
