SUMMARY:

Under general supervision the FWS Departmental Clerical Assistant provides routine clerical office duties that include working with students to acheive clinical complaince in Complio by working within the Complio system to create reports, and connecting with students via various communication methods (phone, email, SMS via Sales Force, etc.). The FWS Departmental Clerical Assistant will be provided a cohort of students each term who they will help become compliant.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists with office assignments in designated department of West Coast University.

Prepares general correspondence, memos, and reports.

Responds to student inquiries of a confidential nature (health and immunization records required for compliance).

Helps guide students through the specific requirements for compliance.

Works with campus clinical team on strategies to help students become compliant prior to clinical rotations. Assist students with technical issues with the Complio system, required to be clinically compliant.

Records all student communication into Sales Force to accurately track all outreach efforts.

Prepares and/or updates information packets, program catalogs or other types of materials; copies and assembles binders, manuals, and packets for meetings and programs as requested.

Screens telephone calls and routes to appropriate individuals. Distributes incoming faxes to appropriate person. Photocopies materials for office use.

Maintains established department policies, procedures and attends in-services and other required meetings.

Maintains confidentiality of all student, associate, and/or university information as required.

Exercises care, proper use and maintenance of department equipment and supplies and identifies unsafe conditions and makes appropriate adjustments.

Adheres to federal and states laws, and applicable professional standards.

Maintains order, cleanliness, and safety at work.

May perform other duties as assigned.
