Responsibilities
  • The Associate Manager supports the Store Manager in the daily operation of the store.
  • The Associate Manager learns all store-management responsibilities and models excellent customer service.
  • The Associate Manager builds customer relationships, promotes the Living Brand, and serves as a product brand advocate.
  • The Associate Manager completes daily, weekly, and monthly accounting, banking, and auditing functions using approved accounting procedures.
  • The Associate Manager operates and maintains approved store equipment.
  • The Associate Manager ensures minimum image standards are met.
  • The Associate Manager assists the Store Manager with recruiting and interviewing qualified applicants.
  • The Associate Manager assists the Store Manager in leading, motivating, inspiring, training, and coaching employees.
  • The Associate Manager ensures store security and safety for customers and employees and promptly reports incidents.
  • The Associate Manager maintains store safety, maintenance, cleanliness, and image standards through store-image reviews, merchandising, safety audits, and use of shift-duty lists.
  • The Associate Manager maximizes sales and gross profit through profitable merchandise marketing and proper product availability and display.
  • The Associate Manager assists with management duties when the Store Manager is absent, including banking, safe procedures, and vacation coverage.
  • The Associate Manager attends development courses and training requirements, including monthly Associate Manager meetings and Living Brand University.
  • The Associate Manager completes the Associate Manager Checklist and Cravin’s To Order training.
  • The Associate Manager completes ServSafe Certification.
  • The Associate Manager performs other duties as assigned.
