Requirements
- A reference statement from the Chemistry Department Chair is required.
- A degree is not required for this position.
- Candidates must have excellent grades in Chemistry.
- Candidates must have excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to students.
- Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Responsibilities
- Tutor students individually or in small groups.
- Review materials covered in class.
- Review homework assignments.
- Prepare students for exams.
- Attend workshops to enhance tutorial skills.
- Communicate with instructors regarding student deficiencies and progress.
- Keep daily records of students tutored and materials utilized.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
