Job Description

DUTIES:                               Provide technical leadership in designing and developing new software and web applications using C++ in a Linux environment; design database tables using SQL; work with distributed systems, high-performance computing, and cloud computing technologies; develop backend software for the MRM AdServer platform; develop backend features including targeting options, Ad verification, and brand safety; respond to real-time production Adserver P2+ Escalation tickets; troubleshoot and debug software issues; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; collaborate with Engineers in the UTC+8 time zone; and guide and mentor junior-level engineers. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS:             Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and five (5) years of experience designing database tables using SQL; developing software using C++ in a Linux environment; and working with distributed systems and high-performance computing; of which two (2) years include developing backend software for advertising platforms; and developing backend features including targeting options, Ad verification, and brand safety.

Base Pay: $179,982.00

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
