- At least 8 years of experience building and shipping backend systems in a Service-Oriented Architecture and/or Event-Driven Architecture environment.
- Expertise with modern backend technologies and infrastructure, including Function as a Service and Infrastructure as Code.
- Expertise in data processing and stream technologies.
- Expertise in database and data storage technologies.
- Strong familiarity with cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure, and containerized infrastructure.
- Design and develop services and pipelines that support rapid data ingestion, processing, and review at enterprise scale.
- Design and develop services that enable real-time collaboration and data gathering in the field.
- Build artificial-intelligence-based features incorporated into the product.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with generalist and specialist engineers, Product, Design, Customer Success, and Operations to deliver end-to-end features.
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Launch and optimize new user-facing features in Doxel’s products.
- Contribute to technical planning, feature roadmaps, and long-term architectural decisions for Doxel’s applications ecosystem.
- Understand customers and champion their priorities.
- Provide technical leadership on end-to-end projects and mentor and coach engineers on best practices.
- Experience with data warehousing tools such as Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
- Experience with 3D visualization or computer-vision-powered experiences.
- Exposure to machine-learning- or artificial-intelligence-driven feature development.
- Comfort with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, observability tooling, and automated testing best practices.

It automates on-site progress tracking by having a worker wear a 360-degree camera to capture footage, which AI analyzes to quantify installed materials across 80+ construction stages and compare to BIM and the project schedule.
