Requirements
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • A bachelor's degree in a scientific or life sciences field of study, such as Public Health, Epidemiology, Virology, Biology, Microbiology, or Biomedical Science.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience in S&TI analysis.
  • A TS/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence Polygraph.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare intelligence assessments in customer-approved formats, meet or exceed analytic quality and tradecraft standards, and provide products within mutually agreed timelines.
  • Research, analyze, and produce all-source written and oral assessments in coordination with the Infectious Disease and Countermeasures Division and counterpart agency analysts.
  • Prepare and provide briefings and assessments to U.S. national and foreign intelligence consumers.
  • Plan and carry out assignments in accordance with ODNI analytic tradecraft standards.
  • Consult with management and senior analysts to optimize production in response to requirements.
  • Identify intelligence gaps and recommend and coordinate collection requirements.
  • Develop and maintain liaison with counterparts within the Intelligence Community and the intelligence components of U.S. Combatant Commands to discuss and coordinate intelligence production.
  • Participate in national and international conferences, meetings, exercises, and working groups to prepare, present, and defend the customer's analytic positions.
  • Maintain currency in foreign and domestic advances and developments related to or potentially impacting the assigned subject-matter area.
  • Contribute to maintaining manual and automated databases of relevant intelligence information supporting ongoing and projected research products.
