Requirements
  • A valid driver's license.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and implement assigned projects, including ensuring financial success and meeting project and client expectations.
  • Review proposals, cost estimates, quotes, contract drawings, specifications, addendums, and pertinent estimator emails.
  • Discuss projects with the estimator.
  • Select equipment that meets project requirements while maximizing project margin, including evaluating lower-cost equivalent equipment options.
  • Ensure project requirements, expectations, and deadlines are met.
  • Maintain good relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Perform panel and system design, including electrical schematics, panel layout drawings, communication drawings, loop drawings, and other applicable drawings.
  • Provide documentation for project submittals and approve and submit final submittals to clients, including equipment schedules, drawings, I/O lists, test reports, and operation and maintenance manuals.
  • Order equipment with the Purchasing Department and ensure timely ordering while minimizing the company cash-flow burden.
  • Work with the Production Manager, Team Leads, and Assembly Technicians to ensure panels are built as required through daily interaction during fabrication.
  • Work with Field Technicians to ensure installation, commissioning, and startup activities are completed effectively, on time, and within budget.
  • Attend site visits for meetings, work reviews, and startup or installation assistance.
  • Close out project documentation, review final billing and change orders, review final job-costing reports, and turn over required documentation to the client.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Notify the Financial Controller and Director of Project Management of project change orders.
Desired Qualifications
  • Electrical controls, instrumentation, and panel design are required.
  • Ability to follow specifications, contract drawings, budgets, and schedules.
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting control schematics.
  • Ability to work on project sites and adhere to safety policy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service.
  • Proactive and creative problem-solving skills, including evaluating options, analyzing complex problems, and presenting solutions clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, large workloads, and deadlines.
  • At least a master's degree in engineering, industrial management, or industrial engineering.
  • Completed coursework in Product Design & Development, Project Management & Scheduling, Design of Industrial Experiment, and Organizational Behavior.
