Requirements
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Bachelorā€™s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Exceptional coding skills and the ability to ship new products lightning fast. We primarily use Python, Elixir, JavaScript, but previous knowledge of each is not required.
  • Deep knowledge of SQL and non-SQL storage systems (we currently have Postgres and DynamoDB but prior knowledge of these particular systems is not required)
  • Prior experience in a public cloud environment (AWS, GCP) using Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC tools like Terraform.
  • Previous experience at a hyper-growth startup.
  • Excellent problem solver and a self-starter who can hit the ground running with little direction.
  • Excellent ability to understand product requirements in the context of a scalable platform.
  • Known for the high quality of your engineering designs.
  • Ability to pick up on new technologies very quickly.
Responsibilities
  • Build new products and features quickly and reliably.
  • Translate platform strategy into a sound system design.
  • Work closely with the product and infrastructure teams.
  • Ship new features quickly to users while maintaining long-term stability of the platform.
