Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification and/or an Ohio radiography license is required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with patient care and perform all necessary x-rays to a high standard of quality.
  • Escort patients to rooms.
  • Order medical and x-ray supplies.
  • Maintain x-ray records.
  • Prepare patients for x-rays.
  • Perform x-rays as required by physicians.
  • Perform C-arm procedures.
  • Document procedures performed in the log book.
  • Help transport patients back to operating-room rooms.
  • Communicate with physicians, patients, and staff.
  • Ensure that equipment is properly maintained.
  • Order x-ray supplies as needed.
  • Pull, file, and mail back x-rays.
  • Answer patient questions.
  • Help turn over rooms by mopping floors, taking out garbage, and wiping down equipment.
  • Perform other duties delegated by management, registered nurses, and leads.
