Relevant experience or a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
Have 0–3 years of experience in commercial construction.

Responsibilities
Work closely with the Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager to manage aspects of the construction process.
Transmit project-related documents, prepare monthly project billings, coordinate and attend meetings with project stakeholders, and serve as a liaison between Monteith Construction and clients, design partners, and trade partners.
Enter and organize project documentation, including plans, specifications, requests for information, and document revisions.
Assist the superintendent and project manager with tracking inspections.
Initiate and submit monthly pay applications to support positive cash flow on projects.
Work with the Project Manager on change order management.
Facilitate weekly or monthly owner-architect-contractor meeting agendas and manage necessary correspondence.
Apply for local and state permits.
Lead the project closeout process.

What You'll Do At Monteith
As a Project Engineer, you will work closely with the Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager to manage many aspects of the construction process. Some of the primary responsibilities of this position are the transmission of various project-related documents, preparing monthly project billings, coordinating and attending meetings with project stakeholders, and acting as a go-to liaison between Monteith Construction and our clients, design partners, and trade partners.
Additional responsibilities may include:

Assist the superintendent and project manager with tracking inspections.
Initiate and submit monthly pay applications to ensure positive cash flow on projects.
Work with the Project Manager for change order management.
Facilitate the weekly or monthly OAC meeting agendas and manage any necessary correspondence.
Apply for local and state permits.
Lead the project closeout process.
