Indiana University Foundation

View

The Indiana University Foundation collects and manages private gifts for Indiana University and its campuses. It raises funds from individuals, corporations, and foundations and invests them in a diversified endowment portfolio to generate long-term returns, with about 4.5% of the endowment spent each year to support scholarships, faculty, and research while preserving principal. The foundation acts as the designated steward of private gifts, using its size, donor-relations capability, and long-horizon investment approach to sustain ongoing support and fund capital campaigns. Its goal is to provide predictable, enduring financial support for Indiana University’s mission through gifts, investments, and strategic fundraising.
