Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years’ experience of merchandising and/or product creation experience, in a vertical or wholesale environment
  • Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication up to the senior executive level and out to wide, diverse audiences
  • Understanding of retail key performance indicators and profit based metrics
  • Strong strategy building skills that shape the future of the business
  • Values differences and builds positive relationships with high cultural awareness
  • Solves problems using limited information and implements solutions with the ability to foresee most future implications
Responsibilities
  • Create consumer-led product line plans and assortments that deliver on the Women’s Sportswear Apparel business expectations including sales, growth, margin and productivity
  • Monitor franchise and classification health, and drive product lifecycle discussions
  • Partner with the Sr. Director to lead key product merchandising gates of line planning, global assortment review, and merchandising assortment review for apparel
  • Coach and mentor Merchants with a focus on merchandising excellence
