IDT Corporation has launched eSIM data plans within its BOSS Revolution app, offering mobile connectivity in over 190 countries. The digital payment provider announced that customers can purchase and activate eSIMs directly through the app without physical SIM cards or carrier visits. The company claims travellers can save 70% to 90% on international data costs compared to traditional carrier roaming. First-time eSIM purchasers receive a 20% discount. Plans include standard options ranging from 1GB for seven days to 100GB for 30 days, with some starting below $1 per GB. Unlimited plans for trips of one to 30 days are also available, starting at less than $2.50 daily in select destinations. The launch comes as global travel eSIM usage is projected to reach approximately 134 million users in 2026, representing a 32% increase from 2025.
IDT Corporation's higher-margin growth businesses — National Retail Solutions, BOSS Money and net2phone — now generate about one-third of revenue and two-thirds of gross profit, growing revenue 17% year over year in the latest quarter. National Retail Solutions reached $141 million in trailing-12-month recurring revenue, whilst BOSS Money benefited from accelerating digital remittances and net2phone posted record 17% adjusted EBITDA margins after subscription revenue rose 12% year over year. The company is delaying its planned net2phone spin-off, citing a desire for greater business scale and more favourable capital-market conditions. IDT ended the quarter with $251 million in cash and no debt. Consolidated adjusted EBITDA rose 13% to $37.5 million.
IDT Corporation's subsidiary, IDT Telecom, has extended its revolving credit facility with TD Bank to July 2029, nearly three years beyond the previous August 2026 maturity date. The amendment, executed on 13 August 2026, increases seasonal borrowing capacity to $50 million during May and December, up from $25 million in other months. The agreement adds three new corporate guarantors: National Retail Solutions, IDT Payment Services, and IDT Payment Services of New York. The extension provides IDT with enhanced financial flexibility to manage working capital requirements during peak seasonal periods. The facility remains secured by assets of IDT Telecom, IDT Corporation, and other key subsidiaries.
IDT reported Q3 2026 results with consolidated revenue growing 5% year-over-year to $315.7 million. Gross profit increased 9% to $122.5 million, with gross margin expanding 170 basis points to 38.8%, a quarterly record. Income from operations rose 12% to $29.8 million, whilst adjusted EBITDA grew 13% to $37.5 million. The company raised its full-year fiscal 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance to $150 million to $152 million, representing 15% growth at the midpoint. NRS recurring revenue grew 22% year-over-year, with its terminal network exceeding 39,000 active POS terminals and payment processing accounts surpassing 29,000, up 14% year-over-year. Following the quarter's close, IDT acquired a controlling stake in OnCore Digital, a digital media brokerage, to integrate with NRS' screen network and transaction data.
BOSS Money, IDT Corporation's international remittance service, reported record transaction volumes during Mother's Day 2026, with strong growth in both principal sent and transaction volumes across eight countries via its BOSS Money and BOSS Revolution apps. The surge in digital remittances underscores growing customer engagement with IDT's app-based money transfer offerings. However, the company's investment narrative remains centred on margin improvement and app adoption in BOSS Money, with main risks including working capital needs and competitive pressure. IDT recently increased its dividend to $0.28 per share annually, signalling management's commitment to returning cash whilst investing in digital growth. The company's narrative projects $1.3 billion revenue and $104.9 million earnings by 2028, implying a 0.7% yearly revenue decline.
