  • Demonstrated personal ownership of complex IDN or health-system account strategy, including developing and executing account plans that produced measurable business results.
  • Ability to synthesize complex account, market, stakeholder, clinical, and commercial information into a clear strategy, prioritized action plan, and measurable goals.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence effectively within a matrixed organization, establish accountability independently, navigate conflict, and maintain productive working relationships.
  • Strong strategic planning, business judgment, problem-solving, negotiation, facilitation, organization, and project-management capabilities.
  • Verbal, written, presentation, and executive communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly and credibly.
  • Ability to understand, articulate, and appropriately communicate complex clinical and scientific information.
  • Experience using CRM systems, market analytics, and account analytics to support prioritization, planning, and execution of account strategies.
  • Commitment to ethical decision-making, compliance, customer focus, and personal accountability.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to satisfy applicable company driving requirements.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Definitive Health, and CRM platforms; Veeva experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Regional Business Director to identify and prioritize IDNs, regional health systems, and strategic hospital accounts where KAM involvement can materially improve strategy, execution, and business growth.
  • Own the integrated commercial strategy for selected targeted accounts, maintaining alignment with the Regional Business Director and accountability for account-plan execution, advancement, and business results.
  • Develop and maintain differentiated system and affiliated hospital account plans based on each system's structure, decision-making tree, and clinical, quality, and stewardship priorities; establish account vision, measurable goals, milestones, owners, timelines, and resource needs.
  • Lead account matrix teams through influence, aligning and securing commitment from Regional Business Directors, hospital sales representatives, and cross-functional partners. Engage appropriate sales, Field Reimbursement, Market Access, and other internal resources while respecting functional roles; ensure clear actions, ownership, timelines, and follow-through.
  • Build credible relationships with executive, clinical, pharmacy, quality, antimicrobial stewardship, operational, and economic stakeholders. Use approved clinical evidence to connect NUZYRA with relevant patient-care and health-system priorities.
  • Identify and compliantly address access and implementation barriers, including formulary, contracting, reimbursement, distribution, clinical pathway, order-set, and workflow complexities. Coordinate with internal subject matter experts and manage contracting within company policies.
  • Drive measurable and appropriate NUZYRA utilization and system-level growth across selected priority accounts, increasing adoption within priority hospitals and implementation across affiliated entities.
  • Use account, market, utilization, and performance data to identify opportunities, monitor progress, refine account strategy, and prioritize resources.
  • Support regional opportunities beyond selected priority accounts where KAM involvement can strengthen strategy, execution, or business growth. Share relevant insights, repeatable approaches, and lessons learned across the regional and national KAM organization.
  • Deliver business results in compliance with company policies, applicable laws, regulations, and promotional requirements and guidelines. Maintain timely and accurate documentation of account activity, decisions, and progress.
Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to lead through influence and facilitate cross-functional or matrix account teams is strongly preferred.
