Corastone has partnered with UMB Fund Services to connect the fund administrator to its permissioned blockchain network, streamlining alternative investment transactions. StepStone Group is the first UMB client to use the platform, with recordkeeping support from Envision Financial Systems. The collaboration replaces manual workflows with a shared data standard enabling straight-through processing across subscription and fund servicing lifecycles. UMB Fund Services acts as transfer agent and fund administrator on the platform, exchanging standardised investor and transaction data in real time to eliminate rekeying and reduce reconciliation errors. The partnership follows Corastone's recent collaboration with Franklin Templeton to launch Private Market Model Portfolios. The permissioned blockchain network connects general partners, wealth managers, transfer agents and fund administrators whilst allowing each participant to maintain their existing client relationships.
