  • Experience within a Financial Planning and Analysis delivery environment, including knowledge of delivery systems and processes, is required.
  • Understanding of financial reporting, management reporting, business intelligence, management accounting, and reporting sourced from multiple systems or platforms is required.
  • High proficiency in using Oracle is required.
  • Ability to work across different shift hours for global operations is required.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines while maintaining service quality is required.
  • Ability to multitask and handle complex situations is required.
Responsibilities
  • Lead a Financial Planning and Analysis team of 50–60 full-time employees.
  • Prepare standard and ad hoc management reports for regions, countries, products, and services.
  • Deliver ad hoc analyses and support annual operating plans, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Plan, create, and manage reporting data and reports from various database systems.
  • Provide professional expertise and direction to team members and act as the focal point for business units and Technology on key project initiatives.
  • Manage client communications, respond to queries, investigate irregularities and anomalies, and provide technical support for day-to-day issues.
  • Partner with reporting clients to understand strategic goals, operational context, and activities, and explain results using strategic business insights and facts.
  • Use applications and understand their business and technical functionality and relevance to the business community.
  • Support business units across the region through product understanding, validation, problem and query resolution, and communications coordination.
  • Use storytelling principles to convey impactful messages.
  • Lead planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and variance analysis across the balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting for selling, general and administrative expenses, working capital, cost of sales, and other management reports.
  • Lead, coach, guide, and mentor the team in domain and non-domain matters.
  • Identify risks proactively, implement controls, and participate in internal client forums as part of the delivery leadership team.
  • Manage team and individual development, objectives, and performance in line with policy and the performance framework.
  • Provide one-on-one feedback to all team members.
  • Reduce single points of failure and dependency on key individuals.
  • Establish action plans related to staff satisfaction feedback.
  • Maintain an environment that supports agreed customer service levels.
  • Build team capabilities and increase competency across technical and business environments in line with strategic information delivery direction.
  • Align information delivery approaches and service levels with business priorities and direction.
  • Establish processes to educate customers and teams on application and model outputs.
  • Build trust and cooperation within the team and across Finance and the business.
  • Embed simplified, documented processes to reduce training times, improve efficiency, and satisfy compliance requirements such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
  • Manage vendor relationships to maximize service levels and develop or refresh the application platform.
  • Provide support for Financial Planning and Analysis delivery to business users.
  • Own and resolve issues proactively.
  • Establish action plans related to issues and customer satisfaction feedback.
  • Establish end-user training where required.
  • Establish or review service-level agreements for customer support.
  • Coordinate end-to-end change management with other teams, including upstream and downstream changes.
  • Apply project management disciplines to change-management processes.
  • Build and enhance quality-control processes, identify and act on data issues, and maximize process efficiency.
  • Measure, monitor, and report performance levels and improvement plans.
  • Travel abroad when required for work.

Accenture surges 17% on Q4 beat with $18.7B revenue, but analyst warns stock fully priced at 15x forward earnings

Accenture shares surged 17% on Thursday after reporting strong fourth-quarter results. The company posted revenue of $18.7 billion, up 6% year-over-year, while earnings per share jumped 46% to $3.29. Management's full-year revenue growth forecast of 4.5% exceeded analyst expectations of 4%. Net bookings rose 4% to $22.2 billion. The company plans to return at least $9.5 billion to shareholders this financial year. However, TD Cowen analyst Bryan Bergin maintained a hold rating, citing concerns that the stock is fully priced at 15 times forward earnings. He cautioned that one strong quarter may represent a cyclical bounce rather than structural growth acceleration. Despite this, Wall Street remains optimistic, with a "moderate buy" consensus rating. Accenture currently offers a 3.05% dividend yield.

Accenture soars 20% on upbeat fiscal 2027 forecast, lifting IBM and Cognizant

Accenture shares surged 20% Thursday after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter results and issued its fiscal 2027 outlook. Quarterly revenue rose 6% year-over-year to $18.7 billion, whilst GAAP diluted earnings increased 46% to $3.29 per share. New bookings reached $22.2 billion. For fiscal 2027, Accenture projects revenue growth of 3% to 6% in local currency, exceeding the 3.9% analyst consensus. The company expects GAAP diluted earnings of $14.39 to $14.81 per share and an operating margin of 15.9% to 16.1%. The positive forecast boosted competitors' shares. Cognizant Technology Solutions climbed 10%, Infosys gained 8%, and IBM rose 5% in morning trading. Accenture generated $2.8 billion in free cash flow during the quarter and returned $11.5 billion to shareholders in fiscal 2026.

Accenture partners with AWS to deliver cloud and AI tools for mid-sized companies

Accenture has announced a new collaboration with Amazon Web Services to deliver cloud and AI offerings specifically for mid-sized companies generating between $300 million and $3 billion in annual revenue. The technology bundle, available through AWS Marketplace, includes tools for virtual machine migration, cloud spending optimisation, security strengthening, and AI system risk testing. The offerings fall under Accenture Edge, a dedicated business unit serving mid-market clients. The collaboration also provides conversational AI, virtual agents, and customer service technology. 407 ETR, a Toronto-area electronic toll highway operator, is cited as an early customer. Accenture shares rose 1.6% in premarket trading following the announcement. The stock currently trades around $180, having rebounded more than 50% from June lows but remaining well below its 52-week high of $291.09.
