Requirements
- At least one year of experience as an aquatic technician is required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- A CPO or pool operator certificate is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Identify the main water contaminants and implement appropriate treatments to maintain water quality.
- Stay current with and comply with local and national regulations governing pool operations.
- Conduct regular water analyses and chemical adjustments to maintain optimal pH, chlorine, and alkalinity levels.
- Perform weekly maintenance, including filter cleaning, backwashing, and pool-surface vacuuming.
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on pool equipment such as dosing pumps and filtration systems.
- Monitor and maintain water and air quality.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate water levels, adjusting them as needed.
- Inspect and clean the pool to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Maintain detailed records of water-quality tests, chemical usage, and maintenance activities.
- Write monthly reports.
- Manage the chemical inventory.
- Collaborate with pool staff and other team members to ensure proper pool operations and excellent customer service.
