Requirements
  • One year of property maintenance responsibilities or similar experience.
  • A valid driver's license, an insured vehicle, and the ability to travel between properties.
  • Obtain the company-provided Environmental Protection Agency certification within six months of employment.
  • Ability to work periodic flexible hours and provide on-call, after-hours emergency service.
  • Ability to travel by plane and automobile.
  • Ability to work at property locations within or near transitional neighborhoods.
  • Ability to climb stairs, take elevators, bend, squat, reach overhead, and meet standard mobility and lifting requirements for property maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned administrative work each morning, including prescribed online training, reviewing company updates and executive or ownership messages, scheduling vendors, ordering parts, and participating in team meetings.
  • Ensure service requests and repairs are completed correctly and promptly using the company's mobile maintenance application.
  • Assist with turnkey operations, including scheduling, punching, painting, and cleaning, within five business days of move-out.
  • Maintain an effective preventive maintenance program.
  • Prepare for owner, federal, state, and local inspections.
  • Inspect grounds, buildings, and common areas to ensure a safe and clean environment.
  • Maintain, repair, and clean assigned apartment buildings, which may include multiple locations and building types.
Desired Qualifications
  • Technical training certifications are a plus.
