Requirements
  • Graduate of a physician assistant program and certified by Washington State, or hold a Master of Science in Nursing, Master of Nursing, or equivalent nurse practitioner degree.
  • Maintain appropriate continuing medical education credits according to Washington State and Olympic Medical Center Medical Staff requirements.
  • Hold current Washington State registered nurse licensure and current Washington State advanced registered nurse practitioner licensure with prescriptive authority, or current Washington State physician assistant-certified licensure and prescriptive authority.
  • Maintain current Drug Enforcement Administration registration.
  • Maintain current basic life support certification.
  • Maintain appropriate privileges and membership on the Olympic Medical Center Medical Staff.
Responsibilities
  • Provide specialty outpatient orthopaedic and sports medicine consultation and follow-up care in the clinic and operating-room settings in collaboration with orthopaedic surgeons and podiatric physicians.
  • Provide a mix of outpatient clinic care, emergency-room consultation, and operating-room assistance.
  • Rotate a week of call with the other Olympic Medical Physicians Orthopaedic Advanced Practice Clinicians.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two years of prior orthopaedic experience.
