Requirements
  • 3–6+ years of experience in creator operations, talent coordination, community management, agency account management, or related operational roles.

Responsibilities
  • Own day-to-day management of the SuperClip creator community across Discord and other community platforms.
  • Build trusted relationships with creators, clippers, editors, and community leaders through consistent communication and support.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for creator questions, onboarding, issue resolution, and ongoing engagement.
  • Develop initiatives that increase community participation, creator retention, and overall engagement.
  • Coordinate creator onboarding, communications, documentation, and operational workflows.
  • Partner with Talent, Partnerships, and Account Management teams to ensure creators have a seamless experience.
  • Maintain creator records, track participation, and support talent lifecycle management.
  • Help identify high-potential creators and facilitate introductions for partnership opportunities.
  • Build scalable systems and processes that support a growing creator network.
  • Develop and enforce moderation standards, community guidelines, and best practices.
  • Monitor community health, engagement metrics, and operational KPIs while identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Improve workflows that increase operational efficiency across community and talent functions.
  • Communicate daily with internal account, partnerships, and leadership teams to ensure creator initiatives are executed successfully.
  • Support creator launches, campaigns, activations, and special projects.
  • Help connect brands, creators, and clippers through community-driven opportunities.
  • Stay current on creator economy trends, clipping culture, streaming, gaming, and emerging social platforms.
  • Understand internet culture and identify opportunities that strengthen community engagement.
  • Help position SuperClip as the leading destination for creator clipping and viral content distribution.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience managing online communities, preferably Discord.
  • Familiarity with the creator economy, influencer marketing, streaming, gaming, or clipping ecosystem.
  • General understanding of clipping workflows and creator content operations; deep technical expertise is not required.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with account management, partnerships, and operations teams.
  • Existing relationships within creator, gaming, or digital media communities.

The average shopper probably hasn’t heard of SuperOrdinary, but if they are a beauty or skincare fan, they’ve definitely heard of some of the brands the startup works with: Olaplex, Farmacy and Biossance, to name a few. The Los Angeles-headquartered company works behind the scenes to help American and European consumer brands scale on marketplaces like Amazon, sell through social commerce and break into the Chinese market. SuperOrdinary announced today that it has raised $58 million in Series B funding at a $800 million valuation. Investors in this round included Manzanita, Alliance Consumer Growth, Demira GateUpper90 and SuperOrdinary founder and CEO Julian Reis.Since launching six years ago in Shanghai (it still has an office there, along with one in New York) to bring international brands to China, SuperOrdinary has expanded its offerings to include global expansion for its brand partners, Amazon account management, brand protection and creator monetization through social commerce.Over the next year, SuperOrdinary expects to hit profitability, growing by more than 50% and reaching $350 million in revenue. The company says that over the last year it’s clocked 30% annual revenue growth, while its engineering team tripled in size. Thousands Of Gen Z Creators Are Using Fanfix To Monetize Content And Interact With Fans

More and more Gen Z users are hopping on the content creation train in an effort to earn a living beyond a regular 9-5 gig. According to a 2022 study by Adobe, around 45% of Gen Z creators surveyed said they want to earn money from their content.However, given the recent drama surrounding major social media apps, with Meta discontinuing its monthly Reels Play bonus program and the potential TikTok ban, many creators are getting worried. Sixty percent of Gen Z creators use TikTok to monetize content, the study said.Fanfix, a Patreon competitor that is focused on Gen Z creators and only allows clean content, may provide an extra revenue stream for creators. The subscription content monetization platform enables influencers to earn money directly from their followers.Fanfix has attracted over 10 million users — including 3,000 creators, the company claims. The average annual income for active creators is $70,000, its data shows.As of this month, Fanfix says it paid out $11 million to creators so far, with projections to be at $50 million by the end of the year. It also claims a revenue run rate of $35 million and believes it will be profitable by Q1 2024, co-founder Harry Gestetner told TechCrunch.The figures are notable for a two-year-old startup, especially when the current market makes it harder for creator-focused startups to succeed.Fanfix is a web application where creators can create a membership, set a paywall and then post content behind the paywall
