Requirements
  • Ongoing/completed Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following: C++, Python, JavaScript.
  • Project work (preferably in a group setting) in Robotics, Computer Vision or related domains.
  • Strong enthusiasm for continuous learning, including reviewing and contributing to pull requests and design reviews.
Responsibilities
  • Work with various teams to expand the Teleo fleet to new models of heavy machinery.
  • Advance the functionality of the Teleo system by developing new features that enhance the productivity of heavy machinery operators.
  • Deploy features to job sites and work with customer-facing teams and operators to collect feedback for improvements

Teleo converts heavy equipment in the mining and construction sectors into remotely controlled robots by retrofitting existing machinery with advanced technology. This allows operators to control equipment from a safe location, improving crew safety and reducing exposure to hazardous environments. Unlike competitors that sell new machinery, Teleo focuses on upgrading current equipment, which helps clients save on costs. The goal is to enhance safety and efficiency in these industries through teleoperation.
