Responsibilities
  • Operate various forms of powered industrial vehicle equipment to receive, deliver, and store supplies.
  • Obtain work orders to determine required parts and delivery locations.
  • Retrieve sub-assemblies and parts from storage locations.
  • Load carts with required parts.
  • Stage completed carts in designated locations.
  • Use a scanner and/or tablet to manage transactions, transfer parts, perform inventory inquiries, conduct maintenance counts, and report outages.
  • Return unused parts, empty containers, and empty carts to designated storage or replenishment locations.
  • Move completed assemblies or boxed furniture into designated locations.
  • Follow health and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean workplace following 5S standards.
  • Perform other assigned tasks.

La-Z-Boy Incorporated announced on Aug. 31 plans to invest $23 million and create up to 100 new jobs through a manufacturing expansion and the construction of a new distribution center in Neosho. The company said the 150,000-square-foot facility will serve as a centralized distribution hub within its U.S. supply chain network.
