About the Job

Requirements

  • Strong experience in supply chain planning, including S&OP, demand and supply planning, and order promising.
  • Good exposure to supply chain execution, including order management, inventory, fulfillment, and logistics.
  • Experience with Blue Yonder planning and execution modules is preferred; exposure to Kinaxis is an added advantage.
  • Experience with planning transformation programs and cognitive business planning platforms.
  • Understanding of agent-based planning and execution, scenario simulation, and orchestration.
  • Experience with AI/ML use cases in planning and execution, predictive and prescriptive analytics, and AI agents, copilots, or automation.
  • Ability to translate AI into operational decisions.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake or cloud data platforms, integration patterns such as APIs, event-driven architecture and ETL, and planning and execution data models.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership across IT, business, and operations.
  • Ability to drive transformation, simplification initiatives, and adoption at scale.
  • Strong systems thinking and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Blue Yonder-based planning solutions across demand, pre-solve and supply, writebacks, scenario planning, new product planning, FNE, and NGOP.
  • Drive migration of all applications to a cognitive business planning-enabled cognitive planning platform.
  • Enable real-time plan adjustments aligned to execution signals.
  • Simplify the planning landscape by focusing on AI adoption for user productivity, process standardization, and solver reliability.
  • Design and implement closed-loop planning-to-execution integration, sending planning outputs to execution systems and feeding execution feedback into near-real-time planning adjustments across demand signals.
  • Lead supply chain execution capabilities across order promising and ATP/CTP, supply management and deployment, manufacturing and supply execution alignment, materials planning, and logistics and fulfillment visibility.
  • Ensure tight integration between Blue Yonder planning systems, the future-state S/4 ERP, ECC execution platforms, and Snowflake data lake and reporting.
  • Build execution-aware planning through real-time exception detection and decision prioritization frameworks.
  • Drive intelligent response orchestration across planning and execution.
  • Drive roadmap execution from Heritage SaaS to the Cognitive Business Planning platform.
  • Enable real-time simulations, multi-domain agent-based planning, and unified planning and execution data models.
  • Prepare the ecosystem for agentic execution-aware planning, progressing from assistive to autonomous capabilities.
  • Identify and deploy AI use cases in planning, including demand-supply gap analysis, solver diagnostics, and explainability, and in execution, including order promising, exception resolution, order prioritization, and delay prediction.
  • Drive adoption of AI assistants for planners and execution teams and autonomous response capabilities to improve decision latency across planning and execution.
  • Drive EPS architecture toward an AI-ready unified data ecosystem, with Snowflake as the single source of truth and integrated planning and execution data models.
  • Enable real-time data ingestion from execution systems and event-driven architecture for decision-making.
  • Simplify integrations across Blue Yonder, ERP, and execution platforms.
  • Align Blue Yonder vendor roadmaps with Micron priorities for cognitive business planning and AI enablement.

Desired Qualifications

  • Semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with S/4HANA and execution integration.
  • Experience with AI-driven supply chain platforms.
  • Exposure to agent orchestration frameworks.

About the Company

Micron Technology

Makes memory and storage chips for AI and PCs

Micron Technology designs and manufactures memory and storage chips, mainly DRAM and NAND flash, used in data centers, PCs, phones, cars and industrial equipment. It is one of only three companies that make HBM, the stacked high-bandwidth memory placed beside processors in AI servers, and it is the largest memory chipmaker based in the United States. Unlike chip designers that outsource production, Micron runs its own fabs and assembly sites in the United States and across Asia. It earns money by selling chips, memory modules and solid-state drives to cloud providers, device makers and distributors. Micron was founded in 1978 and is headquartered in Boise, Idaho.
