Requirements
  • A Master’s degree in nursing is required.
  • Current Arizona Nurse Practitioner licensure is required.
  • Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner is required, along with current Drug Enforcement Administration and American Nurses Credentialing Center certifications.
  • Experience using electronic medical records is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification and a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card are required.
  • One to three years of experience in family practice, primary care, or a related Nurse Practitioner role is required.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and time management skills are required.
  • The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team is required.
Responsibilities
  • Develop treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions, focusing on holistic patient outcomes.
  • Guide patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices to promote long-term wellness.
  • Adapt health strategies to accommodate the aging process.
  • Perform thorough examinations and evaluations to diagnose and monitor health concerns.
  • Prescribe medications effectively and safely under prescriptive authority.
  • Lead healthcare initiatives and manage patient care autonomously.
