Phillips 66 refines crude oil into gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and other products, and moves energy through its own pipelines, terminals and gas processing plants. Its Midstream business gathers, processes and fractionates natural gas liquids, and the company owns half of Chevron Phillips Chemical, a large petrochemicals producer. It sells fuel to drivers and businesses under the Phillips 66, 76 and Conoco brands and makes Kendall lubricants. Revenue comes from refining margins, fee-based midstream services, fuel marketing, renewable fuels and its chemicals stake. Its roots trace to Phillips Petroleum, founded in 1917 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and it has operated independently from Houston, Texas, since 2012.
