About the job
- AHPRA registration must be unrestricted, and candidates must meet the PGY4 minimum.
- Candidates must hold an MBBS degree or equivalent.
- Candidates must be available to commence from January or February 2027 onwards.
- Candidates must be available for at least 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 9am and 9pm AEDT, and during core business hours Monday to Friday for training.
- Candidates should be adept at delivering high-quality care in 10-minute consultations, with strong clinical judgment and a harm-reduction focus.
- Candidates should be familiar with privacy laws, the Real-Time Prescription Monitoring (RTPM) system, Schedule 8 regulations, and medico-legal duties.
- Candidates must be able to navigate multiple digital platforms while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Candidates should be punctual, responsive, and dedicated to care continuity and a premium patient experience.
- Candidates should be open to feedback, collaborative care, and ongoing upskilling through training pathways.
- Deliver telehealth consultations to a diverse patient base.
- Conduct clinical assessments, prescribe Schedule 4 and Schedule 8 medicines, and manage follow-up care.
- Collaborate with registered nurse and clinical support teams to optimize the patient journey.
- Use digital tools to maintain accurate, compliant documentation and efficient care.
