About the job
- Proven experience in moving services, including furniture disassembly and reassembly and installation of home decor.
- Willingness and ability to lead, train, and grow a team.
- Residence within 20 miles of Dix Hills, Melville, Huntington, East Northport, and Smithtown.
- Ability to lift more than 30 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Organizational, planning, and leadership skills.
- An empathetic and caring approach with the ability to provide compassionate service to seniors.
- Ambition and desire to take on significant managerial responsibilities and grow within the company.
- Recruit, train, and lead a moving and packing team.
- Manage the moving services division, including planning and execution of moves.
- Disassemble, pack, transport, and reassemble furniture in clients' new homes.
- Install and hang pictures, televisions, and other wall-mounted decor.
- Ensure the safety and efficiency of moves while taking into account each client's unique needs.
- Educate team members on best practices in moving, packing, disassembly, and installation.
- Foster positive relationships with clients by offering support and understanding during their transition.
