Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree with a science focus, preferably in life sciences or engineering.
  • At least 4 years of laboratory experience.
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Highly proficient use of the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities
  • Report metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Coordinate quarterly business review meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Manage the asset inventory process, including physical inventory.
  • Manage preventive maintenance and calibration programs.
  • Manage entitlements.
  • Manage asset lifecycles.
  • Provide day-to-day oversight of Laboratory Equipment Services, laboratory equipment business reviews, preventive maintenance, service request follow-up, and reconciliation.
  • Work extensively with end users in Research and Product Development laboratories and with equipment and service suppliers.
  • Resolve non-routine laboratory systems and equipment issues, challenges, and problems.
  • Manage the computerized maintenance management system to maintain asset data integrity.
  • Manage laboratory equipment service requests from receipt through scheduling, follow-up, site-access tracking, and completion.
  • Coordinate with end users and suppliers to obtain service reports for completed laboratory asset requests and ensure that each request includes proper asset information and associated documentation.
  • Follow up on laboratory equipment field service report documentation.
  • Compile asset information from the asset database and original equipment manufacturers, and manage vendors while planning and scheduling periodic equipment maintenance.
  • Create, organize, and distribute laboratory equipment service data reports to key partners.
  • Evaluate, contract, and manage vendors performing calibration, maintenance, and services for laboratory assets.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in asset lifecycle management, including onboarding and offboarding technology.
  • Familiarity with SAP Customer Relationship Management, Blue Mountain RAM, or ProCal.
  • A bachelor's degree in life sciences or engineering, including Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
