Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a University program (+3rd year) or recently graduated in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study
  • Minimum of 8 months of hands-on experience in software development.
  • Available to work full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
  • Attitude, capacity and commitment to learn and train by yourself.
  • Good understanding of algorithms & data structures, programming, operating systems and networking.
  • Familiar with algorithmic complexity and Big O notation.
  • Proficient in some programming language, preferable in Python and its ecosystem.
  • Comfortable with cloud technology. Capable of working with cloud providers like AWS or GCP.
  • Some exposure to modern SDLC: code versioning and repositories (Github/Gitlab), automated testing, CI/CD.
  • Aware of production system performance metrics like latency, throughput, error rate, CPU/Memory/Storage consumption.
  • Ability to read and interpret logs.
  • Bonus Points: Working knowledge of containerized applications (Docker)
  • Knowledgeable about IaaC (Terraform)
  • RDBMS/SQL and NoSQL databases (Redis)
Responsibilities
  • Work in the development and uptime of our real-time ML models.
  • Monitoring the performance of our systems in production, understanding metrics and interpreting dashboards
  • Contribute to the improvement of our load testing framework
  • Help refine and evolve our alerting system
  • Minor bug fixing or more complex bug fixing with assistance
